Sharon Wylie
Sharon Wylie (Democrat) represents the 49th District, including Vancouver west of Interstate 205, and Hazel Dell. Originally appointed in April, 2001, Sharon was elected in November, 2011 to serve an unexpired term.
She is serving her second term in the House of Representatives.
She has worked in business and government as a management consultant and in government relations.
Other accomplishments include organizing a farmers’ market, staffing a rape-crisis center and serving two terms in the Oregon Legislature.
Sharon has a BA in Political Science and is a board member of Clark County’s Council for the Homeless and of Affordable Community Environments.
Sharon is an avid backpacker and oil painter.
Sharon lives in Vancouver with her husband. They have twin daughters and one grandchild.
