Christina Rolfes (Democrat) represents the 23rd Legislative District in Kitsap County. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 2006 and served three terms before her appointment to the State Senate in July, 2011 to serve an unexpired term. She was reelected in 2012.

She has also served as a member of the Bainbridge Island City Council.

Prior to holding elected office, Christine counseled Northwest businesses and organizations as a business development officer with the United States Agency for International Development.

She holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Virginia and an M.P.A. from the University of Washington.

Christine lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband Leonard and their two school-aged daughters.
