Val Ogden
Val Ogden (Democrat) served the 49th Legislative District which included Vancouver and part of Clark County.
She served six terms in the House of Representatives, 1991-2003, and served as Democratic Speaker Pro Tempore.
A native Washingtonian, she graduated from Washington State University.
She had her own management consulting firm for nonprofit organizations. She was active with civic groups including the Council on the Homeless, Human Services Council, and Clark County Mental Health Board.
She and her husband had three children.
