Dawn Morrell
Dawn Morrell (Democrat) represents the 25th District which includes the cities of Puyallup and Fife, as well as portions of Tacoma and the unincorporated
Pierce County communities of Midland, Parkland, Summit-Waller, South Hill, North Clover Creek Collins and Summit View. She served in the House of
Representatives from 2003-2011, and was elected to a fifth term in 2012.
Dawn, a certified critical care nurse for nearly thirty years, works at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
Prior to being elected, Dawn served on the Washington State Nurses Association’s Legislative and Health Policy Council and the Pierce County Nursing Association’s Board of Directors. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington-Tacoma.
Dawn and her husband have two children.
