Carol Monohon (Democrat) represented the 19th Legislative District comprising Grays Harbor and part of Pacific Counties.

Born in Raymond, she was first elected to the House in 1976 and then appointed to the Senate in 1977 but lost the seat in the next election. She then re-ran for the House seat in 1978 and won, going on to serve three terms.

Representative Monohon was a graduate of Grays Harbor College and UPS with a BA in Political Science. She also attended UPS law school.

She and her husband had two children and lived in Raymond.
