Rosemary McAuliffe (Democrat) senator for the 1st Legislative District, which includes Mountlake Terrace east of I-5, all of Brier, all of Bothell, the Finn Hill neighborhood in Kirkland, and the North Creek, Cathcart, Maltby, and Echo Lake areas of unincorporated Snohomish County. Has served in the Senate since 1993.

Has fought to provide a high quality education for all students. Serves on the Quality Education Council and the Achievement Gap and Oversight Accountability Committee.

Graduated Seattle University – B.S. R.N.

Has owned and operated a small business and lived in Bothell for more than 40 years with husband. Has six children.
