Kelli Linville (Democrat) represented the 42nd Legislative District which included most of Whatcom County. She served in the House of Representatives 1993-94, was appointed in 1995, re-elected from 1996-2011.

Born in Bellingham, she was a fourth generation Whatcom county resident and came from a commercial fishing family.

A former speech therapist in the Bellingham School District, she and her husband owned a small business. They had two sons.
