Wanda Hansen (Democrat) was appointed January 27, 1992 to serve the unexpired term of her deceased husband Frank “Tub” Hansen. She served in the 13th Legislative District which represented Kittitas and parts of Benton, Grant and Yakima counties.

Harold Hochstatter was elected to the seat on November 3, 1992.
