Tami Green
Tami Green (Democrat) represents the 28th Legislative District, serving University Place, Fircrest, parts of Lakewood, Tillicum, Steilacoom, Anderson Island, Ketron Island, McNeil Island, DuPont, West Tacoma, Elk Plain, parts of Spanaway and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. First elected in 2004 to serve an unexpired term, she is now serving her fifth term.

Tami was raised in a military family, and from a young age she served in numerous teaching and leadership positions in her church.

As a registered nurse, Tami has worked with patients at Western State Hospital and Child Study and Treatment Center and at Good Samaritan Community Healthcare. Tami is the House Majority Floor Leader, and she also works at St Joseph’s Hospital.

Tami and her husband, Don, have two grown children and three grandchildren.
