Barbara Cothern (Democrat) represented the 1st Legislative District, divided between King and Snohomish counties, including cities of Bothell, Brier and Mountlake Terrace, portion of Woodinville. She served one term, 1993-1995.

Former member and president of the Northshore School Board. Graduate of Seattle University, B.A. Human Resources, MBA.

Married with three children.
