Dianne H. Woody
Dianne H. Woody (Democrat) represented
the 39th Legislative District comprising portions of Snohomish
and King Counties in the Senate. She was appointed to the position September 27,1977, to serve the unexpired term of
her husband, Frank Woody.
She served until 1985.
Born in Washington State and attended schools in both Eastern and Western Washington. Graduated from Western Washington State
College with majors in Psychology and History. She did post-graduate work at the University of Washington.
Senator Woody had been a social
worker and small business proprietor and
lived in Woodinville with her son and
daughter.
