Gigi Talcott
Gigi Talcott (Republican) served seven terms in the House of Representatives from 1993-2007. She represented the 28th Legislative District which
encompassed the communities of DuPont, Fircrest, Lakewood, Steilacoom, Tillicum, University Place and West Tacoma and Anderson, Day, Ketron and
McNeil islands.
A career educator, Gigi taught both at the elementary school level and at Clover Park Technical College. She established herself
as a statewide leader on education issues. Gigi received a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in education.
She worked closely with Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross and her church.
Gigi and her husband had two children.
