Mary Skinner (Republican) represented the 14th Legislative District serving a portion of Yakima County. She served seven terms in the House of Representatives, 1995-2009.

Mary attended Yakima Valley College, graduating from Central Washington University.

A former junior-high teacher and long-time volunteer, Mary offered perspectives in health care and education.

She served as past board member of Yakima Valley Community College, Washington State Board of Education, and Heritage College, and as co-chair of the Council of State Governments' Health Capacity Task Force.

She and her husband lived in Yakima.
