Laura Ruderman (Democrat) represented the 45th Legislative District in eastern King County. She served three terms in the House of Representatives, 1999-2005.

A former Microsoft program manager, she had years of experience fighting for families on the local and national level.

Laura served as president of the board of directors for a non-profit that offered micro-loans for women starting their own businesses.

She graduated from Wesleyan University in 1992 with majors in psychology and theater.
