Marilyn Rasmussen
Marilyn Rasmussen (Democrat) served the 2nd Legislative District encompassing portions of Pierce and Thurston Counties. Served three terms in the House
of Reprentatives from 1989-1993. Served four terms in the Senate, 1993-2009.
Born and raised in the north end of Seattle and attended the University of Washington.
Is a farmer, former school board member and active in youth, community and agricultural organizations. Owns and operates a large family beef and timber farm.
Marilyn has seven children.
