Maryann Mitchell
Maryann Mitchell (Republican) represented the 30th Legislative District including the greater Federal Way area, Redondo, Edgewood, NE Tacoma,
and Vashon Island. She served five terms in the House, 1991-93, 1995-2003.
Mitchell chaired the successful cityhood campaign and worked as an advocate for disabled and elderly. Served as a board member of Federal Way's Women's Network and a member of the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, which named her as Citizen of the Year in 1989. Member of Community Council, King County Open Space Bond Issue Committee and Pacific NW Aquatic Foundation.
She and her husband made their home in Federal Way.
