Sue Karahalios (Democrat) served as a member of the House of Representatives in the 10th Legislative District which wrapped around the north and east of Puget Sound, including all of Island County and parts of Skagit and Snohomish counties. She served 1993-1995.

Received a B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and a Masters degree from Western Washington University.

Taught for many years in the Oak Harbor School District and Seattle Pacific University.

Active in the League of Women Voters; Washington Education Association; church and youth activities. City summit, regional family initiative policy, land use, transportation, and education committees are some of her other work.

Mother of four children.
