Doris Johnson
Doris Johnson (Democrat) represented the 16th Legislative District in the
House of Representatives, 1965-1969, 1971-1973. She also represented the 8th
Legislative District, 1973-1975.
Born in 1924, in Washington, Johnson graduated from Western Washington State College with a Master's degree in Education. She was employed as a school counselor.
Representative Johnson was chairwoman of the Kennewick Citizen's Advisory Committee for Community Improvement, and made educational quality her number one priority in the Legislature. She and her husband, Harold, had one daughter.
