Lorraine Hine
Lorraine Hine (Democrat) represented the 33rd
district of South King County in the House of
Representatives. She served from 1981 until her resignation in 1993.
Born 1930, in Timberlake, South Dakota, and raised in south King County during the Depression. She was graduated from WSU with degrees in Education and Speech.
Representative Hine served three terms as the mayor of Des Moines, and was past president of the Puget Sound Council of Governments.
She and her husband, William, have six grown children.
