Karen Fraser (Democrat) represents the 22nd Legislative District, comprised of the northern portion of Thurston County, including Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater. She has served as State Senator since 1993, and as State Representative 1989-1993.

Karen has also served as Thurston County Commissioner and Mayor of Lacey. Past President of the Washington State Association of Counties.

She is a graduate of University of Washington with B.A. and M.P.A. degrees.
