Ruth Fisher
Ruth Fisher (Democrat) represented the 27th Legislative District in Pierce County from 1983 to 2003. She served 10 terms in the House of Representatives.
She also served on the Pierce County Planning Commission.
She affiliated her self with the Gambling Commission; Pierce County Planning Commission - former chair; and Pierce County Community Health, Tacoma
Fisher was considered the prime mover of laws that led to the creation of Sound Transit and funding for a second Tacoma Narrows bridge.
