Darlene Fairley
Darlene Fairley (Democrat) served the 32nd Legislative District which included parts or all of Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Shoreline, Woodway, and
Edmonds. She served four terms in the state Senate, 1995-2011.
Born and raised in West Seattle, she earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Washington and completed graduate work in International Management and International Relations.
Darlene was a small business owner and also served as Lake Forest Park City Councilwoman, a court-appointed special advocate for abused children, and a volunteer victim advocate for the Seattle Police Department.
Darlene and her husband had one son.
