Tracey J. Eide
Tracey J. Eide (Democrat) represents the 30th Legislative District: Federal Way, Pacific, Algona, Milton and parts of Auburn, Kent, and Des Moines.
Has served in the Senate since 1999. Served in the House of Representatives 1993-95.
Graduate of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Author of the Intermediate Driver’s License law reducing teen casualties and fatalities 48 percent, the law prohibiting texting and hand-held cell phone use while driving and the Simple Majority for Schools.
Lifelong resident of King County and a small business owner, married to her high school sweetheart, Mark. They have two children.
