Carolyn Edmonds
Carolyn Edmonds (Democrat) represented the 32nd Legislative District serving the communities of Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, north Seattle and Shoreline in King County. First elected to the House of Representatives in 1998, she served until her resignation in November, 2001 upon her election to the King County Council.
Carolyn received a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Jose State University, and a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Washington.
With many years of corporate experience she also worked as a local small-business consultant.
Community service included vice chair, Shoreline Planning Commission; campaign manager, Shoreline Incorporation; board president Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Senior Center; treasurer, Shoreline Schools Levy; board president, Shoreline Historical Museum; co-president, Sunset PTA Council; and board member, Rotary.
She and her husband had two children.
