Deborah Eddy
Deborah Eddy (Democrat) represented the 48th Legislative District which included Eastside communities encompassing portions of Redmond, Kirkland,
Issaquah and Bellevue. She served three terms in the House of Representatives, 2007-2013.
Deb earned a B.S. from West Virginia University and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina.
She served as a Kirkland councilmember and mayor and gained broad policy experience as executive director of the Suburban Cities
Association and at the Cascadia Center for Regional Development.
She was active in non-profit boards, including the founding board of the Eastside Domestic Violence Program.
She and her husband lived in Kirkland and had three children.
