Suzette Cooke (Republican) served the 47th district comprising all or part of Black Diamond, Auburn, Covington, Maple Valley, Kent and Renton. She served three terms, from 1993-1999.

Former executive director of the Kent Chamber of Commerce, director of the Kent Senior Center, and recreation supervisor for athletics, arts and developmentally disabled.

Past board member of the Washington State Small Business Improvement Council and the Association of Washington Business.

BA degree in recreation administration from Western Washington University, and founding student of Fairhaven College.
