Virginia Clocksin
Virginia Clocksin (Republican)
represented [the 24th] district comprising Clallam,
Jefferson and Mason Counties in the House
of Representatives. Elected in 1966, she
served one term.
Voted one of the "Outstanding Young
Women of America" after her election to the
House, Representative Clocksin was a
member of the Appropriations and Education
Committees, served as the vice-chair of the
Natural Resources Committee, and was a
special member of the Legislative Council.
She was a state Republican Committeewoman
and served on the Executive Board of the
Republican Central Committee.
