Jean Marie Brough
Jean Marie Brough (Republican) represented the 30th legislative district in the House of Representatives from 1983-1994.
She was also a member of the League of Women Voters (Status of Women Committee).
Her political affiliations led her into a variety of other volunteer positions, including fundraising chair for the state equal rights
amendment campaign; lobbyist for the federal ERA; and, founding member of the Washington State Women’s Political Caucus.
She also held a number of offices, including co-president of the Seattle NOW chapter and member of the national board of NOW.
