Jan Shabro
Jan Shabro (Republican) served in the 31st Legislative District representing residents of south King County and northeast Pierce County. She served two
terms in the House of Representatives, 2003-2007.
Jan earned a B.S. in Education and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Pacific Lutheran University.
Prior to being elected to the House, Shabro was a member of the Pierce County Council from 1994-2002.
She worked as a special education instructor for the Tacoma School District and taught management courses for the Boeing Company. Jan was a founding member of the Lake Tapps Task force, and past president of the Economic Development Corporation of Pierce County.
Jan and her husband had four children.
