Joyce McDonald (Republican) served in the House of Representatives representing the 25th Legislative District which included Puyallup, South Hill, Summit, Midland, Milton and parts of Edgewood and Fife. She served two terms, 1997-2001 and was reelected to three more terms, 2003-2009.

Born and raised in Scotland, Joyce lived in the Puyallup area for many years. She was a small business owner, former foster parent, youth center president and PTA president.

She and her husband had four children.
