Jaime Herrera Beutler (Republican) represented the 18th Legislative District which included parts of Clark and Cowlitz counties, serving the communities of Amboy, Battle Ground, Camas, Kalama, La Center, Ridgefield, Salmon Creek, Toutle, Washougal, Woodland, and Yacolt and parts of Castle Rock, Kelso and Vancouver. She was appointed to the House of Representatives in November, 2007 to serve an unexpired term and served until her election to the 3rd U.S. Congressional District in January, 2011.

Jaime's priorities included health care, education, transportation, creating jobs, and veterans' issues.  She worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and the State Senate.

She received a bachelor's of arts degree in communications from the University of Washington.

Jaime and her husband Daniel Beutler reside in Camas.
