Grace E. Cole
Grace E. Cole (Democrat) was first appointed to the 1st Legislative District in the House of Representatives on January 11, 1982 to serve an unexpired term. The district encompassed Shoreline, NW Seattle and Kenmore. She served in that role until 1993 when she was elected to a seat representing the 32nd Legislative District of NW Seattle and King County.

Oregon State University graduate.

A resident of Shoreline, she served on Shoreline School Board, and boards of Shoreline Youth Services and Center for Human Services. She was a member of the League of Women Voters, Women's Political Caucus, Shoreline Chamber of Commerce, and the American Association of University Women.

She and her husband had four sons.
